Our Open Days are a great opportunity to see the school first-hand and get a real sense of what it’s like to study with us. Whether you’re considering one of our courses, or if you’d like to learn more about Williams and Cleal, we’d be delighted to welcome you to the workshop.

During your visit, you’ll have the opportunity to explore our workshops, see student projects in progress and past student’s finished furniture pieces. You’ll meet our tutors and have the chance to ask questions about our courses, the techniques we teach, and how we support students at different stages of their fine furniture journey.

Our Open Days are suitable for anyone interested in furniture design and making, from complete beginners to those looking to develop existing skills or move into a professional furniture making career.

Our courses are practical, hands-on, and tailored to the individual, and visiting us in person is the best way to see if the school and approach are right for you.

Booking your place

Our Open Days are free to attend. Tours will be taking place on Friday 12th June 12:00 - 14:00 and Saturday 13th June 12:00 - 14:00. Booking is essential and spaces will be limited to ensure everyone has time to ask questions and engage fully with the experience. Please fill out the form below to book your place.

Once you’ve booked your tour and attended on the day, you’ll have the opportunity to be entered into a prize draw to win a free weekend course of your choice!
