Learn about the advantages of working with veneer and the opportunities that it offers. During your two days with us, you will make a veneered tray. Choose from our stock of veneer in varying colours, grains and species.

As well as making your own tray to take away with you, you will learn:

•     Selecting veneer, book matching, slip matching.

•     Various methods of pressing and jointing veneer.

•     Vacuum press principles, types of press and use of equipment.

•     Demonstrating sand scorching techniques and suitable use and application of adhesives.

•     Steam bending handles for your tray.

Notes

• Gift vouchers for weekend courses, are available upon check out.

• Please bring your own lunch, cold drinks and snacks. Tea and coffee are provided.

• Please bring a mask if you have one, otherwise we can supply.

Terms and conditions

• To secure your place, a course fee will be requested at the time of booking.

• Cancellations and refunds: In line with your statutory rights, we offer a 14 day cancellation period from the date that you purchased your course. Cancellations outside of the statutory period are non refundable.

• When you reserve a place we will then email you confirmation, a receipt, a list of course requirements and accommodation suggestions.
